What went wrong?

What went wrong is right! Has the average person looked at the federal budget. Do we realize that federal spending has increased 39 percent since 2001.Do we realize that federal spending is projected to reach $2.294 trillion, with a budget deficit of $477 billion. Do we realize that federal spending topped $20,000 per household. Again the government spends $20,000 per house hold. This is just plan crazy. The government can't be all things to all people. Just take a look at the graft of spending.

It is with out a doubt that congress is not going to stop spending and wasting our hard earned money on government programs. When are we going to get mad enough to start writing to our congressmen and senators. We need deep cuts in discretionary spending. We as citizens of this country need to make some hard decision about how we want our money spent. Not only do we need to cut spending but we also need to make sure that what we are spending is not going to waste. The government needs to stop treating Americans as if we are stupid. We understand these matters and must make our voices known. As citizen in our personal lives we have to balance our budgets. So why aren't we requiring our government to do the same?.
